  • Biomesotherapy / Biopuncture ,

Biomesotherapy is a therapy consisting of:
Stimulating the body by putting a sterile saline solution (which is exactly the same as the bodies fluid composition) under the skin.
This stimulates deeper organ systems known as a cutivisceral response. Oral homoeopathic medicines are given simultaneously which focus upon the organ or tissue requiring treatment.

For more detailed explanation about this therapy please contact the clinic.

Questions such as the ones noted below will be covered:

  • Where is the saline solution inserted?

  • What about the safety and efficacy of this technique?

  • How does it work?

  • When do practitioners suggest using biomesotherapy?

  • When is biomesotherapy not indicated?

  • Dorn Spinal and Joint Therapy,

Dorn therapy, also known as Dorn Spinal Therapy, is a therapy that is excellent for problems with the back, joints, organs, and headaches, which have been caused by vertebrae that are in the wrong place or legs that are different lengths.  The therapy was founded in Germany over 30 years ago.

Dorn therapy is a non-manipulative treatment.  The joints and vertebrae slip back into their natural positions thanks to the self-determined movements of the patients.  It is classified as a low-repetitive therapy and involves gentle re-alignment techniques that work on balancing leg length, the spine and all of the joints in the body.  It can be used with other therapies or used on its own.

For more information about this therapy please contact the clinic.

  • ** NEW**  RSM (Redox Signalling Molecule) Massage

Charles, the principal practitioner used RSM gel for several months on clients for specific isolated body locations of injury and noticed immediate results of alleviating pain and discomfort. He then decided to test using it on family and friends as a whole body massage or body part. The results were outstanding.

It is from here that he came up with RSM Massage.

The Effects of RSM on the Musculoskeletal System

The power plants of human muscle cells are the dense populations of mitochondria—heart cells have 5,000 each. Heart cells never rest. There is always a dynamic process of metabolism of fuel and oxygen, as well as a release of waste, and it’s all based in redox reactions from RSM created by mitochondria.

Muscle Recovery–Muscle cells love to work! They rise to the challenge, replicate themselves, and recover from exercise under the direction of RSM, and they develop more mitochondria with more exercise. But even with healthy habits, we lose 10% of our mitochondrial density every decade after age 20. RSM supplementation helps correct the effects of this, promoting faster recovery and reducing cell injury.

Bone Density and Healing–As the structural framework for our bodies, bones do their cellular work—including bringing calcium into the architecture—through redox reactions. The bone density decline that comes with aging can accelerate with RSM imbalance. RSM balance along with proper mineral resources helps arrest this process.

Healing of fractures is completely directed by REDOX signaling molecules and allows for the remodeling to near perfect morphology after a break.

Aging–A youthful abundance of REDOX signaling molecules signals the body to create the vitality we seek as we age in life. Aging in balance is possible provided we manage our REDOX potential with necessary lifestyle changes.

Athletic Performance–All of us, to varying degrees, are athletes as we face the challenges of our busy schedules. Thankfully, millions of times each second, muscle cells are creating and using vital RSM. Elite athletes who monitor their redox biochemistry have shown positive changes in metabolic outcomes with RSM supplementation.

Our naturopathic treatments are categorised into 2 main types. namely metabolic imbalances and musculoskeletal imbalances.

The metabolic imbalances category to give you an understanding we look at treating, ailments such as digestion, skin, respiratory, nervous system, heart, cardiovascular, allergies and external factors that can cause this dis-regulation such as viruses, bacteria, fungi and other environmental toxins.

The musculoskeletal imbalances category we use various manual therapies that will correct the physical imbalances you are experiencing. These could be anything from muscle sprains and strains, sore muscles and joints for example shoulder, hips, backs elbows and the list goes on.
In some cases the 2 categories mentioned are both treated for various biological reasons.

Why has the clinic created these 2 categories?
Over the years it has been our experience that the majority of treatments sort after were either one or the other, hence the creation of the 2 categories. However there are occasions that both categories are needed. What is meant by that is, as a holistic practice individuals will be assessed and if various treatments  are required that will be of benefit to their health, that will be discussed and explored at a consultation. The other reason we created it is to enable you the client to communicate to us effectively and efficiently depending on what your needs are and what you have read on our website.

  • Breuss Massage

The Breuss Massage is a very gentle Spinal Massage that safely stretches, nourishes, aligns and energizes the spine.

The spine is like any other living organism, which is in a constant state of ‘stress and relief’. It not only needs nourishment and rest, but also the right amount of ‘stress’ in the form of active movements to maintain its strength and function. During the day our spine and especially our ‘discs’ are stressed and they need to fulfil their duty as shock-absorbers whenever we stand, walk or sit.

These discs are consequently squeezed and some of the liquid within gets out making the discs thinner. We are actually a little shorter in the evening compared to the morning after standing up. During sleep the spine relaxes and stretches out, and the discs can somewhat regenerate by ‘sucking’ back in the liquid they lost during the day, almost like a dry sponge placed in water. This mechanism is altered in a negative way when our metabolism is not in balance or impaired for many different reasons.

The Breuss Massage actually stretches the spine, and acts rather like a whole nights worth of healthy sleeping.
